Lori Weitzner has been internationally known for her contributions to the world of textiles and wallcoverings for more than thirty years. At her Manhattan studio, which Lori dubs her White Box Sanctuary, she and her team explore inspiration in material form. This could mean spending a day drawing, painting, making stencils or collaging torn paper—all of which can become the jumping off point for a fabric weave or wallcovering pattern. Lori Weitzner’s Wallcoverings have that same sense of layering and details we expect from her textiles. Explore her specialty, foundational, and handmade wallcoverings.

With the time-old tools of color, texture, and pattern, they create materials that engage the senses and evoke curiosity, calm, and beauty. Dedicated to environmental consciousness and performance, Weitzner feels it is critically important that we preserve the craft of hand-making textiles by creating opportunities for the artists who do it and by cultivating an appreciation for their talents and techniques.
